Monitoring is based around newer, more powerful instrumental techniques such as continuous FTIR profiling as these produce more detailed, more accurate data at low cost.Monitoring is carried out to appropriate accredited methods where they exist. In the UK, emission monitoring is done within the MCERTS scheme. |
